# TREASURY

A community-controlled and decentralized collaborative decision-making mechanism for sustainable funding of Harvest’s future developments and maintenance. During each treasury period, project proposals are submitted, discussed, and voted for; top-ranked projects will then be funded from the treasury. Our treasury governance system will support liquid democracy/delegative voting for better collaborative intelligence. Namely, the voters can either vote directly on the proposed projects or delegate their votes to experts. Its core component is a universally composable secure end-to-end verifiable online voting protocol. The integrity of the treasury voting decisions is guaranteed even in a situation where all the voting committee members are corrupted.

The team will manage the Treasury funds temporarily until we transition fully into a DAO and elect Treasury council members. The Treasury funds will be overseen by multi-signature wallets, ensuring the secure custody of all major assets, preventing exploitation by any single individual.

**GOVERNANCE**

HarvestHaven will be set up as a decentralized autonomous organization (DAO) in the nearest future, giving **$HRV** holders the power to shape the protocol's future direction. Key decisions, like setting fees, selecting supported tokens and chains, managing protocol operations, and utilizing treasury funds, will be made collectively by **$HRV** holders, among other important matters.

As we evolve and expand, we'll keep refining our documentation to ensure it stays up-to-date, transparent, and packed with detail.
